From the first consultation through your postoperative visits, Dr. Samuels is deeply involved with every aspect of your care, providing meticulous attention throughout your treatment. Our premier office staff is also a vital part of your surgery team. Dr. Samuels' clinical expertise and sensitivity to the beauty within you optimize your plastic surgery experience.

Meet Our Staff

Cynthia Cranmer, Practice Administrator
Cynthia attended IUS, is a licensed cosmetologist and has worked in the medical field for 20 years. She helps create a positive atmosphere for our patients with her dedication and loyalty. She has become an invaluable assest to our practice and our patients. Cynthia enjoys photography, reading and working in her flower garden, but most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan and son.

Melanie Cissna, R.N., In office nurse and Clinical Laser Coordinator
Melanie graduated from Ivy Tech State College's Registered Nursing program in Sellersburg, Indiana. She furthered her nursing education during her time at Ivy Tech working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She graduated in December 1999 and worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery for six years. Melanie's desire for plastic and aesthetic surgery was realized when she went on to work for Jewish Hospital's plastic/aesthetic surgery team where she worked closely with Dr. Samuels for two years. She is upbeat, highly energetic and extremely motivated. She enjoys scrap-booking and outdoor activities, but her favorite way to spend her time is with her children.

Rita Blanford, R.N., Clinical Laser and SkinCare Coordinator
As an experienced Registered Nurse, Rita is a valuable asset to Dr. Samuels. She is very motivated and strongly believes that the patients' needs come first at all times. Her caring approach makes each patient feel they are extraordinarily special. Rita's high energy and quick sense of humor keep us all energized. Rita enjoys gardening and outdoor activities with her husband, Steve, and their three children.
